I’ve gone on the record about my love of letters. Receiving them, writing them, and in particularly, reading others. I have volumes of collections which I dip into for inspiration or just entertainment. Which leads me to one of my favorite blogs, Letters of Note.
Curator Shaun Usher has posted hundreds of memos, letters and telegrams, some of historical interest (a love letter from Henry VIII to Anne Boleyn, written while he was still married to Catherine of Aragon), some odd (John Lennon’s complaint letter to a dry cleaner, asserting that Yoko Ono does not sweat) and others hysterically funny (South Park creator Matt Stone’s response to the ratings board request for him to clean up language and imagery in his movie.
